Once you've set up a non-exempt employee, you will need to keep an accurate Pay Rate on their profile. This will allow you to submit timesheets and process payroll correctly.
To Change a Pay Rate (permission access required):
1. On the left navigation menu click People > Employees.
2. Select the employee to whom you want to update a Pay Rate.
3. From the Employee Profile screen, click Payroll Info then click Edit at the top right corner.
4. Select the
icon under Actions to be granted access to their hourly rate.
4a. Enter a new Pay Rate.
4b. Confirm the Effective Date.
5. Click the blue Apply button then click Save at the bottom right side.
Note: hourly employees who perform multiple roles will need an accurate Pay Rate for each position.
