Overview:
The WrkSpot app uses location tracking to boost operational efficiency. This document explains when and where tracking occurs, providing clarity on how your location data is used.
1. Location Tracking on Premises:
-
When It Occurs:
- Location tracking is active when you are clocked in during your shift and on the property. This helps ensure that all activities are properly recorded and associated with the correct location.
-
Where It Occurs:
- Tracking is limited to the premises of the property where you are scheduled to work. This is to ensure compliance and accuracy in timekeeping.
-
When It Stops:
- As soon as you clock out, the Wrkspot app immediately stops tracking your location. Your location is not tracked outside of the scenarios described above.
2. Location Tracking During Emergency Scenarios:
-
When It Occurs:
- In the event of a panic or emergency scenario, location tracking is activated for safety and emergency response purposes. This allows the system to pinpoint your location to provide immediate assistance.
3. Location Tracking When Using the App:
-
When It Occurs:
- Whenever you open the Wrkspot app, it performs a scan for nearby beacons to ensure a smooth clock-in experience. This scan is solely for confirming your presence on the property.
-
Data Handling:
- If you are not on the property during the scan, this data is automatically discarded, ensuring that no off-property location data is retained.
In Summary
Wrkspot values your privacy. Location tracking is strictly limited to the scenarios outlined in this document, and no tracking occurs outside of these specific conditions.
