Overview
This article provides a walkthrough of the Guest Requests feature within the WrkSpot mobile application.
Pre-checks
- Ensure that you’ve installed the latest version of the Wrkspot mobile app.
- To access the guest request screen you need to be clocked in. Please make sure to clock in before going to the guest request screen.
Steps to add Guest requests in a mobile app
- Open the Wrkspot mobile app and Navigate to the Modules -> Operations -> Guest requests
- You have the following methods to utilize the guest request feature on the mobile app.
- View
- Add
- Complete
View the Guest request
- The "Open" tab displays guest requests that came in but are not completed yet.
- The "Mine" tab shows requests assigned to you.
- The "Resolved" tab displays recently finished requests.
- The "Archived" tab keeps track of completed requests cleared by your manager.
Adding the Guest request:
- Start by tapping the + button at the top right.
- Input the guest request details. Choose "Now" for immediate fulfillment or "Start At" for a later time (specify the time).
- Assign any one employee for that request or leave it to create the Guest request as Open.
- Once done, tap Create, and you'll find the new guest request in the Open tab.
Editing a Guest Request:
- Under Mine or Open tab inside Guest Requests, Tap and move the request to the left
- You will see pencil like edit button.
- Tap on the button, you will navigate to edit screen where you can edit the guest request
Completing the Guest request
- Navigate to the Mine tab to see guest requests assigned to you and their details.
- For more information or questions, use the “Chat with requester” option
to communicate with the hotel staff who submitted the request.
- If unable to fulfill the request, tap Decline to return it to the Open tab for another employee.
- Provide a reason for declining. Tap Done when you've finished the guest request, moving it to the Resolved tab.
